Visiting Israel

Italian citizens wanting to visit
Israel do not normally need entry visa. For more information please visit the website of the
Embassy of the State of Israel in Rome.
Italian travelers are advised to consult the
Viaggiare Sicuri website maintained by the Crisis Unit of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to the departure. Also, Italian travelers are advised to register their journey in the website Dove Siamo nel Mondo.

Italian Business Desk

The Italian Business Desk includes the Economic and Commercial Office, the Scientific Office, the
Italian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It operates in synergy with the Italian Trade Promotion Agency.

Consular information

1) The Consular Chancery of the Embassy is open to the public on Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday,from 9.00 to 12.00.
2) Consular services are provided by appointment only. The appointments (excluding those concerning requests for entry visas) can be scheduled only through the specific on-line procedure.
3) We remind you to re-confirm the appointment, as required in the instructions for "Scheduling a Visit", or your reservation will be cancelled.
4) To request an appointment for the issue of entry visas, send an e-mail to ,specifying motives,date and duration of the trip.

Pensioners do not have to make an appointment to authenticate the signature on their existence in life certificates. Instead, they can come directly to the Embassy on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 10.00 to 12.00. The Honorary Consulates in Eilat, Beer Sheva and Haifa are also authorized to authenticate the above signatures.

Over 13.000 Italian citizens reside in Israel. They are represented by the Comitato degli Italiani all'Estero (Comites) elected in 2015 as per Legge 286/2003. Mr Raphael Barki is Comites' President.
